Chana Elgin is an associate at Chambers, Conlon & Hartwell (CC&H) where she represents clients such as the National Railroad Construction & Maintenance Association (NRC). For the NRC, Ms. Elgin also serves as its Director of Public Affairs. In this capacity she is tasked with boosting the NRC’s public profile and responsible for implementing the association’s array of media strategies.

Prior to joining CC&H, Ms. Elgin served as a clerk for the Texas Legislature’s Committee on State Affairs. She previously worked in the U.S. Senate while attending law school at the Catholic University of America, where she earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree with a concentration in banking and securities regulations. Following graduation she worked with Cox Media Group as the managing editor for the conglomerate’s digital platform, Rare. In addition to her law degree, Ms. Elgin is an alumna of Texas Tech University, where she graduated summa cum laude with a dual major in broadcast journalism and political science, in addition to gaining a minor in Spanish.
