Fred Oelsner

Fred Oelsner is an Associate with CC&H who utilizes data analysis and geographic information systems toolsets to research and present legislative and transportation issues and policy positions. This research supports government relations efforts and other projects for CC&H clients including the American Short Line and Regional Railroad Association and OmniTRAX.

Additionally, Mr. Oelsner has experience managing grant application projects, including those for U.S. DOT's FASTLANE and TIGER programs. He has managed market research studies for firms introducing their products and services into the North American transportation sector. He also manages the operations of the American Railway Development Association.

Mr. Oelsner is a graduate of the Colorado School of Mines with a BS in Engineering (Mechanical Specialty) and the University of Denver’s Josef Korbel School of International Studies with an MA in International Studies with a focus on international development and environmental policy.
